THE GUILDHALL PRINT BATTLE

Last Thursday, the 18th May, several members went to Wycombe Photographic Society to see the prints entered by seven clubs – and to support Marlow of course!

Amanda Wright was the judge officiating and was delighted by the prints on display. She was precise in her judgement and her critiques were aimed at helping and encouraging.

Marlow’s entries were from Rowena Wolton, Mary Ellis, Pat Begley, Niki Baker, Sharon Spiller and Margaret Warren.

So what were the final scores? Well, the most important thing is that we came fourth! Our scores were four 17s, one 18 and one 20.

The overall winners were Wycombe Photographic Society, followed in second place by Amersham, and in third place was Princes Risborough. In joint fifth place were St Albans and District, and Maidenhead. Last was Woodley.
