Our own Jon Perry starts the 2024/25 Season with a masterclass on the basics. If you're stuck on "AUTO" or want to take your photography to the next level, or just a bit rusty, this will be just what you need.

Feathers and Fur will be visiting Marlow with some birds of prey for us to photograph in a studio environment. Bring your camera!

A group of MCC members have been following Marlow Rowing Club, photographing them in their clubhouse, from the riverside and from a launch on the river. Tonight we get to see what they've been up to as they present their work.

The Marlow Players have agreed to come in to have a photoshoot with us. They will bring the costumes and props for the play that they will be rehearsing for at the time along with them.

Neil Richards leads a demonstration and workshop on splash photography. Bring your cameras (and a towel) !

A set subject of "Architecture" will be judged by Teresa Hehir of Wycombe PS and Wycombe U3A PS.

Rojer Weightman leads a workshop evening on still life. Bring your cameras!

Three competitions in one evening, judged by Chris Forster:

Anne Walker Cup for Macro  Print/PDI

Macro is defined as being presented with greater than 1:1 magnification. A macro lens need not be used but the image must be magnified so it presented larger than life.

Teuchter Cup for Colour Print/PDI

Jubilee Cup for Monochrome Print/PDI

Monochrome is defined as having infinite tones from light to dark, but from only one hue or colour. This includes traditional Black & White with the various grey tones in between but could equally be any single colour hue, for example Sepia or Cyanotype. Duotone and split tone images containing more than one hue do not fit the remit of “monochrome”.

Our Campbell Cup competition for Prints and PDI will be judged by Micki Aston. 

Natural World is defined as being predominantly composed of Natural, as opposed to man- made, elements. Examples could include: Animals, (including enclosed animals and pets), Flora and Fauna, Landscapes, Cloud Formations, Astronomy, Seascapes etc. Editing the presented image in software is permitted.

CACC Championship Day with three competitions: Chiltern Hundred Members' Exhibition, Inter-Club Print Championship, and Inter-Club PDI Championship. Entry Deadline 9th March.
