And what a cracking time we are having. Scrambled eggs and lashings of ginger beer for breakfast set us up for explorations of Hadrian’s Wall. Scenery was breathtaking, and moody skies were like we have never seen before. Wind was terrific and two of us took a tumble. The wall and Roman Fort were fascinating and the textures great.
